Welcome! My name is Anna. I grew up on California’s Central Coast where I have been painting and exploring the local landscapes since I can remember. Currently, I live in Chicago where I went to school for four years. I love to paint plein air as well as from home. This website is a catalogue of my favorite pieces, most of which are inspired by lakeshores, grasslands, and forests I have encountered across the United States. I have spent every summer of my life living by and exploring the BWCA of Northern Minnesota, a place that has deeply influenced my art. Aside from painting, I enjoy running, camping, canoeing, playing guitar and piano, and studying the environment.
